For example, you can handle OnSave to add your own additional processing during saving process, OnEditorContextMenu to add custom command items to be displayed in context menu, OnToolBarClick to handle custom processing for specific toolbar command, and many more.

WebTextEditor doesn’t only come with sleek user interface and sophisticated experiences, but also hundreds of client-side application programming interfaces that you can call to extend the text editing functionality beyond. For example, you can use SetValue method to programmatically sets the texteditor’s content to a specific value, or call SaveContent method to programmatically saves the content from an external button.

Data binding

WebTextEditor fully supports ASP.NET template databinding, allowing you to easily bind it to a valid data context in the same way and manner as in other ASP.NET controls. It can also be used as insert and edit item template for data bound controls, enables you to bind your data to WebTextEditor in declarative fashion.
