Button customization

Button customization

You can easily customize the appearance of FishEye buttons, allowing you to match the button appearance with the overall FishEye theme and other interface elements. A complete set of visual properties allows you to easily customize the stacked buttons, including arc direction, animation speed, and grid-stack modes.

Button indicator customization

FishEye provides effortless customization to replace the default blue dot button indicator. Use your own image, or a shape from an XAML string or an XAML URL. If you’re using FishEye in Microsoft Expression Blend, the indicator has two modes: Image and Custom. In Image mode, simply specify the image you want to use and set its size. In Custom mode, create a template object. In addition to the button modes, you can also control the indicator position.

Tooltip customization

FishEye button features include an informative, customizable tooltip. You can set all font properties, as well as the shadow, position, and visibility of the tooltip. Even more comprehensive customization is possible in Expression Blend, where you can easily customize the tooltip background and text object.

Separator customization

FishEye uses the Separator to organize buttons into functional groups, helping you to keep your user interface neat and elegant. The separator is also customizable, allowing you to select the Separator Type and set the size.

Background modes

FishEye supports three background modes: Simple, Complex Images, and Custom. In Simple Mode, the background object is a rectangle you control through its properties. In Complex Images Mode, you specify three images used to form the background object of FishEye. In Custom Mode, you create a template object and simply attach it to WebFishEye’s background container.
