Supports both Silverlight and ASP.NET

Supports both Silverlight and ASP.NET

Built entirely on Silverlight 3 technology, FishEye is delivered as .NET managed assemblies. Use it in any web application written in a managed language, such as C#, VB.NET, and other DRM languages supported by Silverlight 3. FishEye and Microsoft Expression Blend (June 2008 preview or later) work well together, not to mention Visual Studio 2008 (with Silverlight tools). Despite being completely re-engineered with the latest Silverlight 3 technology, you can still use FishEye with ASP.NET technology.

ASP.NET development in Visual Studio 2005/2008

Despite its newly revamped Silverlight architecture, FishEye is fully compatible with the existing ASP.NET platform, while maintaining the rich Visual Studio 2005/2008 development environment. Simply drag a control, set few properties and run the page. FishEye automatically converts all server-side objects into Silverlight objects. With Intersoft’s innovative XAPBridge™ technology, the codebase is actually shared between the Silverlight and the ASP.NET version.

Fully compatible with Microsoft Expression Blend

FishEye smoothly integrates with Expression Blend, allowing you to manage it just like any other component. Drag the control from the toolbox, drop it on the designer and use the property grid to customize its appearances, styles, and behaviors.

Supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 with Silverlight toolkit

Visual Studio 2008® provides all the tools and features needed for robust Silverlight development, such as Intellisense, Auto Completion and more. FishEye features impressive design-time capabilities in both Microsoft Expression Blend and Visual Studio development environments. This means that you won’t need to go back and forth between Blend and Visual Studio to see the result of changes to visual elements or behaviors.
