TIPS AND TRICKS – LINKING TWO OR MORE WEBCOMBO WITH MULTIPLE SELECTIONS
Gordon Tumewu, Chief Support Engineer
WebCombo is popular for its built-in advanced features which will save your day.
Features like linked WebCombo and multiple selections are what developers like the
most as they no longer need to use complex client-side scripting to implement similar
solutions.
This month's tips show you how to put these two features in a simple Category -
Products selection scenario.
The key to implement this simple scenario is to manually select the second WebCombo's
data based on the selected value of first WebCombo. Please note that you will need
to turn off the AllowAutoDataCaching and AllowAutoQueryHandler
, then handle the data fetching process in InitializeDataSource server-side
event.
